License to Smoke?
In Europe, a new trend of government rule is trying to emerge as a new style regulations towards smoking. A new BBC article talks about beginning a new regulation that would make cigar smoke purchase a permit/license to purchase tobacco. The creation of the law was really started to “help” people to quit smoking. Making it more difficult to obtain or start to obtain tobacco products.

That’s it! The battle of the high definition DVD’s is over! Back in the 80’s, the war between VHS and Beta Tapes was the talk of the town. There were many different factors concerning that battle, but the final blow came when the porn industry went with VHS. The porn industry made up over 40% of the home video industry back then and it was big enough to kill off Beta. (more…)

Ever wonder how you look on paper? Personal financial statements can look scary
I once learned back in college that more then 2/3’s of the country look horrible on paper. At work, we have all seen or heard about corporate financial statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, etc. Have you ever tried to do a personal financial statement on yourself? Usually it’s pretty surprising the amount of debt that we have as well as all of the assets that we own. (more…)
