Cigar Review - Romeo y Julieta Habana Reserve Belicoso
Romeo y Julieta was probably the first line of cigars I really started to like when I began my “smoking years” at the tender age of 21. They always remind me of how I was brought into the world of smoke and leaves (and by that, I mean the legal kind). Since, I have found countless other brands that have I have been rather exclusive with, but since I’ve been experiencing a broader appeal for medium/full body cigars, I felt a need to re-visit with a brand I’ve always regarded as elite. Cigar Review - Gurkha Warlord
This is a BIG cigar! I remember back when I was starting out, I thought the bigger the better. This is definitely one of those large cigars. Now of course, there is too big, as well as novelty big. This is not in either of those categories. If you are looking for a large, smoke-able cigar, then this is it.
Gurkha cigars are becoming known for having an over the top bold presentation. The boxes are made to look like treasure chests or some kind of rare antique commodity. The bands look like something from the renaissance period. (more…)

Cigar Review - Kinky Friedman Kinkycristo
Ok I’m aware that this is most likely a publicity endorsement/stunt done by Mr. Friedman, but when I was given this cigar, it actually looked like it could be a good smoke. Well, it has a nice looking band…… **crickets chirping from dead silence**
In 2007, Kinky Friedman unveiled a new line of cigars. He is an avid cigar smoker and has been one for many years. Even though cigars aren’t really an endorsed product, you would think that his years of experience would conclude he’d endorse something that had a chance in the marketplace. (more…)
